- Boat Owners & Captains: We share your contact details and the Passenger Manifest Data (Ornik) with the specific boat owner/captain you booked with, solely for the purpose of executing the trip and securing port clearance.
- Government Authorities: By law, the Passenger Manifest Data (Ornik) must be submitted to the Egyptian Coast Guard and Tourist Police before any boat can leave the marina.
- Service Providers: Third-party vendors like Paymob (for payment processing) and cloud hosting services, all of which are bound by strict data protection agreements.
4. Data Retention and Security
- Bank-Grade Encryption: We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. Specifically, sensitive Passenger Manifest Data (Passport numbers, National ID details) are stored using strict database-level encryption (via Supabase) to prevent unauthorized access.
- Automatic Deletion (Zero-Retention): We do not permanently store your travel documents. Your Passport/ID data is securely and automatically purged from our active databases by a dedicated cleanup script immediately after the completion of your boat trip and successful port clearance.
- Financial Data: All payment transactions are securely processed by a certified third-party gateway (Paymob). We never store or transmit your raw credit card numbers on our servers.
